Private Dance Lessons

Michelle is a superb and skillful Seattle teacher who provides dance lessons with clear instruction and demonstration, as well as imparts her knowledge easily. To help her be aware and connected to the needs of her students, she consistently dances with all her students during classes, as both a lead and a follow. But most of all, her enthusiasm is contagious. Her playfulness and humor evokes smiles and laughter from her students, putting all at ease.  Learn tango, waltz, swing and more.

Private dance lessons are a wonderful gift!   Private lessons are for 1 or 2 people, and held at my studio at 1320 NE 63rd St. Seattle WA 98115, by appointment. 

$90 for a private lesson.

I can also do small group lessons for $10 more per person. 

Michelle is well known throughout the Seattle dance community as she has continued to social dance every week for all 20 years. This is how she keeps her dancing skills sharp and keeps up on local dancing trends. Nothing is more reassuring and gratifying for students of dance than to see their dance teacher out dancing among them.  She offers dance lessons in Argentine Tango and more.

Michelle frequently travels abroad to immerse herself in the dances of other cultures. She has traveled from Seattle to Argentina for Tango, Cuba for Salsa and all over the US and Europe. She has taught at and participated in many Argentine Tango Festivals, Salsa Congresses and WC Swing conventions over the years, and continues to attend major dance events each year.

Michelle loves to dance, perform and most of all to teach. She has a way of making dancing accessable and fun for everyone. Michelle specializes in Argentine Tango, Salsa and West Coast Swing, but also enjoys teaching Waltz, Country, East Coast Swing, Bachata, Cha Cha, Cumbia and Blues.
