What Is Tango Nuevo?
Tango Nuevo is a contemporary style of Argentine Tango that embraces innovation, improvisation, and a deep exploration of movement and connection.
It features:
Dynamic embrace: Open and close embrace with transitions.
Playful movement: Sacadas, ganchos, volcadas, soltadas and more.
Musical variety: traditional, alt, modern and non-tango genres, Tango Vals and Milonga.
Creative freedom: Emphasizes structure, technique, and personal expression.
It’s not a separate dance from traditional Argentine Tango — it's a modern evolution of the tango we love!
✨ Why This Weekend Matters
This is more than a dance event — it’s a celebration of music, movement, and magic in one of the most vibrant cities in the U.S. Whether you're looking to deepen your skills or connect with creative tango lovers, the Seattle Tango Nuevo Experience will inspire and delight.
Join us — let’s make tango history together!
